Magnesium Oxide

Magnesium Oxide is hygroscopic in nature and care must be taken to protect it from moisture.  As it is formed by melting magnesium ribbon the flame used in burning is hard to extinguish so utmost care should be taken. It finds applications in:-

·        Cement

·        Medical

·        Desiccant

·        Insulator in industrial cables
