Super Heaters

One of the most important accessories of a boiler is a superheater. It affects improvement and economy in the following ways.

    *      The superheater increases the capacity of the plant.

    *      Eliminates corrosion of the steam turbine.

    *      Reduces steam consumption of the steam turbine.

We have fabricated a number of superheater coils, most of them very complicated in shape, gauge and size. In order to resist metal temperatures above 600oC different types of materials were used for the tubes. The materials range from M.S., seamless carbon steel tubes to chromium molybdenum seamless alloy steel tubes to Stainless Steel Tubes.

Tubeweld earned remarkable achievement by applying creativity used in choosing extra-ordinary materials after a bit of hectic experiements and with varying thickness depending upon the design and system aspect, the location, the relative temperature prone area etc. for boilers upto 210 MW power plant.
