Floor Operated Stacker Crane (F.O.S.)

‘Indef’ F.O.S.(Floor Operated Stacker) is a medium throughput, high density storage equipment. It can serve racks from 5 to 8 meters.

The F.O.S. is a suspended structure running on rail. The rail can be rack or column supported. It has a double girder on which a crab assembly mounted. A mast is suspended from crab, on which fork assembly slides. The fork slides vertically via a hoist attached to the crab. Motors on the crab and girder provide for the cross and long travel motion of F.O.S.
