Thread Sealing

Helpful Hints:

•  If the sealant (545, 565 or 567) will be applied below 40°F, pre-treat with Loctite" 7649 Primer N

•  All parts must be clean & dry before sealing use Loctite ODG-Free Cleaner and Degreaser

Pipe Sealing Cord:

Can be safely applied on metal and plastics threaded fittings.

Potable water: ANSI/NSF"

Thread Sealant:

Recommended for fine threaded fittings as used in hydraulic and pneumatic installations and small fittings in general. Carries German DVGW approval

(NG-5146 AR 0855) Meets BS 6956 type A for sealing gas fittings.

PST Thread Sealant:

A general-purpose instant sealer for tapered and straight/tapered fittings. Controlled strength for ease of disassembly. CSA 3319-81 and 3319-01. UL MH007 (N). NSF/ANSI 61 ULC-Canada Approved. Agriculture Canada Approved.

PST Thread Sealant:

Withstands temperatures to 40QoF with excellent solvent resistance. Locks and seals tapered pipe threads and fittings, including high pressure applications. Disassembles with hand tools. ABS Approved.

Recommended for all coarse metal threads. Suitable for fast applications e.g. outdoor plant maintenance. Carries the German DVGW approval (NG5146 AR0621) meets BS6956 type B for sealing gas fittings. P1 NSF Reg. No: 123001
