Are the parts already assembled?

Helpful Hints:

•   Clean parts with Loctite" ODC-Free Cleaner and Degreaser before applying the adhesive

•   If the Threadlocker will be applied below 40'F, pre-treat with Loctite" 7649 (Primer N)

•   If the parts were in contact with aqueous washing solutions or Gutting fluids which leave a protective layer on the surface, wash with hot water before use

Wicking Threadlocker:

Recommended for locking pre-assembled fasteners, i.e. instrumentation screws, electrical connectors, and set screws. Also seals porosities in welds and metal parts. Mil Spec (S-46163A)

Type III, Grade R.

NSF"/ANSI61.

Low Strength Threadlocker:

Recommended for low-strength thread locking of adjusting screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws; on collars, pulleys, tool holders, and controllers. Also for low strength metals such as aluminum or brass which could break during disassembly.

Mil-Spec (S-46163A) Type II,

Grade M.

Removable Threadlocker:

Effective on all types of metal threaded fasteners. Prevents loosening on vibrating parts such as pumps, motor mounting bolts, gear boxes, or presses. Recommended for use where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing.

High Strength Threadlocker:

Red 252 is a high strength product that is applied to fasteners up to 3/4" (20mm) in size before assembly. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts. Solvents will not weaken the adhesive bond.

High Strength Threadlocker:

A very high strength Threadlocker which is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications and on fasteners where maximum strength is required.
