Coaxial Cable is the most common cable used for transmitting video signals for cable TV network. The Coaxial Cable has a solid copper or copper-clad-steel centre conductor surrounded by a non-conductive dielectric insulating material. The dielectric is surrounded by foil shield and copper braid, which forms the outer conductor and also shields against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The double screen of special composite type bonded aluminum foil ensures a low impedance and additional mechanical strength.
