Commitment, built strong
Commitment to customer satisfaction has seen the Italcementi group’s Zuari Cement grow from a modest 0.5 million tonne capacity in 1995 to 3.5 million tones today. Strengthening this commitment further is Zuari’s various technology initiatives: setting up of a new 5500 tonnes per day Clinker Line at Yerraguntla, a region renowned for its rich Narji limestone deposits, a captive power plant at the company’s cement manufacturing facility at Sitapuram and a grinding center in Chennai. Also in the pipeline are acquisitions and plans to execute greenfield projects, backed by state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, stringent quality control and innovative marketing.
